Kidney Dish

The kidney dish is a general purpose bowl that has many uses including carrying various small items to patient, administering an injection or small procedure in situ, or a patient to rinse their mouth or spit in.

Unlike other pulp utensils that are stored in the sluice room, it is common for stacks of kidney bowls to be left in patients rooms and other strategic points throughout the ward.
